This sizzling new variety is a hybrid of two species, 'Hot Papaya' strongly exhibits the traits of Echinacea purpurea in foliage and habit. The plant forms strong and sturdy clumps with dark green foliage and thick stems with maroon markings. This perennial plant will grow to be around 3' tall, which makes this plant a strong candidate for the middle of the flower border. Coneflowers are a staple in a lot of gardeners due to their colorful flowers. Leave some spent blooms on the plants in fall because they will attract finches and other birds looking for winter food.

Paula Fay Peony 

Peony flowers are a classic addition to the landscape. Visually, they look best when planted in the masses, cottage gardens or borders. The Paula Fay Peony has bright pink rows of petals with yellow stamens at the center. Like most peonies it's a mid-season bloomer, flowering around late May to early June. These large flower heads are held up nicely on strong stems as it grows to be around 32 inches high. Its light fragrance makes this peony a great cut flower. Make sure to plant in well-drained soil and in full sun for best results in regards to flowering.
